What can Psychotherapy help with?

Psychotherapy is a talking treatment that recognises the impact of trauma and can help people live a more fulfilling life. It can be a powerful and life changing experience which can help improve your mental health and overcome emotional challenges. It can help you build resilience and learn how to respond to challenging situations with healthy coping skills.

Here are some of the main issues that therapy can help with

  • Anxiety & Depression

  • Low Self Esteem

  • Stress

  • Addiction

  • Grief & Bereavement

  • Relationship Issues,

  • Anger Issues

  • Abuse

  • Self Harm

  • Bullying & Trauma

One to one therapy, over a series of sessions, can reduce internal suffering, which often causes problematic behaviour. It can help to break down barriers that interfere with emotional and mental well-being allowing us to function better in the world

Relationships are fundamental to our emotional and mental wellbeing, however, not many exist without some form of conflict. Committing to therapy is a sign of our willingness to be proactive to resolve problems rather than avoid them.

Many young people are struggling with how they feel. They may be having problems with friends, family or school. Therapy can help them talk things through and support them make sense of a frightening world of change.
